Vince WatsonやRedshapeといったデトロイト・テクノのフォロワーを擁する、アムステルダムに拠を置くテクノレーベルDelsin。そのDelsinサブ・レーベルAnn Aimeeから連作でリリースされたコンピレーション・シングル4枚。これは、暗闇のフロアで鳴らされるべき、愛想も素っ気もない、しかし享楽的なダンストラックスだ。有り体に言えば流行りのBerghain系の硬質でモノトーンなミニマルなのだが、甘えを突き放すような媚びのない姿勢と、ノイズ混じりの機械的な音の質感の固まりに気分も高揚し、奮起させられる。僕は、しばらくの間はテクノはこの16曲だけで充分のような気がしている。
