acid over the rainbow

明日は相方と、フィギュアスケートGPシリーズ第6戦NHK杯の最終日を観に行って来ます。
競技会を観に行くのは初めてです。
明日は男子シングルのフリースケーティングとエキシビジョンがあるのですが、見所はやはり、今日のショートプログラムで首位の高橋選手と2位の織田選手の戦いですかね。
エキシビジョンでは、女子シングルで見事優勝した中野選手と劇的に2位に這い上がった村主選手（←最新情報(笑)）を観るのが楽しみです。
安藤選手も出るけど、決して私は「ミキティ」に花を投げるために行く訳ではありません（笑）。

先月いちばん話題だったテクノ系のリリースと言えば、やはりこれだったのではないでしょうか。
Richie HawtinのMix CDシリーズ "DE9" 第3弾『DE9: Transitions』。
今回はDJ Mix DVD (+CD) ですが。
まあでも、個人的にはもうこれをDJ Mixとは呼びたくないですね。
元のトラックが判別出来ない位精密にエディットされて大きなひとつの流れの中に組み込まれているので、Richie Hawtinのニューアルバムってことでいいやん。
「動」ではなく「静」ながらもグルーヴィーなリズムに、繊細なウワものが浮きつ沈みつのディ～プ・ミニマル／ヘロイン・ミュージックで、気持ち良さ300％！
最後までズブズブズブズブと沈み込んで行き、浮上しません。
Richie Hawtinの追求する「音」そのものの快楽性は未だ底なし。

全然オッケーですよ。
このアルバム、テクノの中でも難解な方と言うか、取っ付きにくくて
人によっては退屈に思われそうなんですが、そのあたりが心配でした…。

Amazonで詳しく見る(UK盤はDVD付き)　Amazonで詳しく見る(US盤)DJのプレイはもはやレコードを必要としなくなってしまったのかもしれない。CDJやPCでのMIX作業が導入された時はレコードでのプレイに比べると、やっぱり生々しさや臨場感に欠けると思っていたのもとうの昔。Rich
