Nick Simpsonと、現SwagのRichard BrownによるRhythm Invention唯一のアルバム。
Wild Planetがあきらかにテクノのグルーヴだったのに対し、このRhythm Inventionの基本はハウスのグルーヴ。エレクトリックな音色にハイパー化されたハウスやブレイクビーツといったところで、そのデジタルシンセのハイパーなサウンドの部分がかなり気持ち良い。かつて『電気グルーヴのテクノ専門学校Vol.1』に収録された「Ad Infinitum」も別ミックスで収録。
Warp Recordsの歴史に隠れたダンス・アルバムの名作だと思います。
